There is a woman in Baraboo who makes reproduction period patterns. You can
contact her and see if she has patterns for Scandinavian settlers. If not
she loves creating patterns and may take on the challenge. Her name is
Marjorie Cutting and she is the director of our local senior center so you
can contact her there at 608-356-8464 or email senior1@chartner.net and put
"patterns" in the subject line. Marjorie has her own line of period patterns
and made costumes for stage and museums in the US and England before
retiring here. She is very talented. She said she can also help you line up
seamstresses to sew the costumes as she no longer sews herself.
