I think it's a great idea to post such inquiries on the list serve. I

Subject: 1930's davenport
We had a family from the Westby Wisconsin area call to ask if we wanted
a small davenport and chair from the early 1930's. It doesn't fit our
collection. I wasn't sure how to help her and being relatively new to
the list serve, I wasn't sure if folks welcome posting such offerings or
if there were suggestions about how to refer these types of calls. I
would guess that many of us get them fairly regularly.
Any thoughts?
