October is Family History Month! Come learn about researching your
family history, organizing that research and finding all you can on the
internet about the many branches of your family! The Wisconsin
Historical Society holds one of the top 5 genealogical collections in
the country. Learn about their collections and services. From
beginners to experienced researchers, there's something for everyone.
There will be 3 lectures.

What Is Not.
Collections and Services of the Wisconsin Historical Society and the La
Crosse Area Research Center
SPEAKER: Lori Bessler has worked at the Wisconsin Historical Society
Library Archives since 1988. She is a Reference Librarian and Outreach
Coordinator. She has lectured throughout Wisconsin and the Midwest on
genealogical topics for over 15 years and has been researching family
history for over 30 years.
