ARTIFACT DISPLAY AT GILLETT AREA HISTORICAL MUSEUM
Saturday October 25th, a collection of 300 Indian Artifacts found in the
Gillett and Underhill area will be on display at the Gillett Area
Historical Museum at 110 W. Main St. (Hwy 22) Gillett, Wisconsin from
12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. Included in the display will be arrowheads,
spearheads, stone axes and copper culture items, all of which were found
on farms in the area. Also on display will be a number of early
Winchester Lever action Rifles. Interested persons are invited to bring
related items for identification.
