The Mazomanie Historical Society's event is "Christmas in the Village"
featuring a forest of trees (feather, aluminum, cermanic, glass, fabric,
bottle brush and more) and several putz scenes dating from the 1950s and to
the present. Refreshments, door prize drawing included.
Friday, Dec. 5, 6-9pm, Sundays, Dec. 7 & 14, noon-4pm with the drawing on
Dec. 14. 608-795-2992.
The museum is located at 118 Brodhead St., Mazomanie. Mazomanie is located
about midway between Madison and Spring Green on Highway 14.
The Mazo. Historical Art Center is also open the same dates and times for a
Festival of Trees event. Ten fresh trees will be decorated by local
businesses and residents. Includes an art exhibit and U.S. Marines' Toys
for Tots drive.
Tree lighting and caroling in the Westland Memorial Promenade on Friday,
Dec. 5, 5:30pm and other galleries and businesses are expected to be open.
