What Makes Collectors Tick?
Ever wonder what prompted a person to develop a passion for a certain item?
Ever want to become a collector, but wasn't sure how to start? Looking for
a fun and informative evening to break up the post holiday blues? Join the
Washington County Historical Society on Tuesday, January 20, for a fun
evening that will answer all of your questions. Collection of Collectors
takes place in the Old Courthouse Museum at 7:00p.m., and features over 10
area collectors and their unique items.
This free event features a diverse collection of items including everything
from Revolutionary War muskets to flashlights. Collectors will have their
items on display and give an informative overview of their collections.
Guests are invited to view each exhibit and talk with the individual
collectors.
If you would like to showcase your collection during this special evening
there is still time to register. Contact Jessica Sawinski-Couch by calling
the society at 262-335-4678. Display space will be provided at no charge.
This free event is open to the public, and takes place at the Old Courthouse
Museum located at 320 s. 5th Avenue in West Bend. Complimentary
refreshments will be served. For more information regarding this special
