When a society or museum has an annual meeting, open to the public, and ser ves potluck that is provided by the Board of Directors and someone gets sic k, can the museum or society get in trouble? Should it be catered?
(...oh, the good old days when if someone said the word, sue, they were usu ally addressing a woman...)

Yes, co ncession stands that are operated at locally sponsored, youth sporting even ts such as a little league games or a school sponsored interscholastic spor ts competitions are still exempt from all permits and licensing. The conces sion stand must be operated exclusively for the benefit of the participatin g youth sports team, program or governing youth sports organization. Potluc k events are also exempt.
