While our museum does not have what you are seeking you might try to get in touch with the East Troy Electric Rail line. They have a museum in East Troy WI and even if they don't have what you are looking for they may be able to direct you.

Subject: Do you know of a caboose being de-accessioned?

  Dear Friends:
The Stone Lake Area Historical Society is searching for a wood caboose. We want to make it part of our new depot/museum and in it, have our "Railroad Experience". Since our town was born because the railroad needed water from our lake for its steam engines, we feel the railroad should be an important part of our new historical museum project.
We have been told that whenever a museum is going to de-accession something, they offer it as a gift to other museums before offering it for sale to the general public. We felt that someone might have a caboose they would like to give to another museum, and not even know we are seeking one.
Is there any chance that anyone out there knows of a wood caboose that needs a wonderful new home at our museum site? We would be the best caretakers of this caboose that you could ever find.
If you know of such a caboose, please E-mail me at tncmcd@aol.com and I will respond immediately.
  Thank you so much!
  Carol McDonnell, Project Coordinator
