Thanks, Nancy! One of my committee members is a geo-chacher so that group
has been there a few times, and he just hid a new one in the park somewhere.
So far people seem to enjoy the challenge of finding it. I highly recommend
you find something unique about your museum and get yourself on WPR - that
alone has been a great help.
But for the people who come to town and see the sign, and want to stop,
they're not necessarily going to like the challenge. My only hope is to let
as many people know about the detours as possible and keep my fingers
crossed for the rest.
Thanks!
Monette

Monette -
Make it a media event! Send some public service press releases around the
state making the essence be "Want to take an adventure to a fascinating
place that will challenge you to find it?"
The geo caching crowd may be a good resource for you. Give them the GPS of
your location with some interesting clues or ideas to pique their interest.
Creativity will be the name of the game for you, and you may have some extra
time to play with it!
Just an idea that hit me and thought I'd share. Lemons - lemonade. You get
the idea...good luck!
