Knox Creek Heritage Center presents our annual St. Urho (the Finnish saint who chases the grasshoppers out of Finland) and the traditional St. Patrick Day festival. This will be held on Saturday March 13, 2010 beginning at 4:30 at the Brantwood Community Ctr, Brantwood WI. Location is 8 miles east of Prentice WI on Hy 8. Dinner of corned beef, ham and cabbage with mint ice cream for dessert. Memberships will be sold and also homemade grain bread and cardamom braids Guest speaker is old bottle specialist, Michael Seeliger. He will have a collection of bottles from 1600s thru 1800s. Bring your old bottles for him to relate the story of the bottle. All welcome.
