Schumacher Farm County Park will hold its monthly Public Day on *Sunday,
July 18th, 2:00 - 4:00 pm*. This month, the Friends of Schumacher
Farm Park welcome the Madison Knitter's Guild. Bring your current project
and come knit a spell! A sing-along will take place in the air-conditioned
farmhouse at 2:00 pm.
Visitors will have the opportunity to watch and/or participate in farm
activities like machinery care and garden chores, tour the buildings, and
stroll the prairie paths. There is no charge for the family event, though
donations are appreciated. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase
for a quilt created by the St. John's Piecemakers. Light refreshments are
served.
Public Days are held at the open-air musuem on the third Sunday of each
month through November. Schumacher Farm Park is 1/2 mile east of Waunakee
