Congratulations to the recipients of this year's mini grants! We had a reco rd number - 71 - of applications, and enough funding to support 20 projects
.

This joint program between the Society and Wisconsin Council for Local Hist ory is offered annually. Applications will be due in May or June, 2011. Wat ch the list serve and your mailbox for more information early in 2011.

1897 Clark County Jail Museum – Archival supplies Black Earth Historical Society – Computer Brown Deer Historical Society – Storage supplies Dartford Historical Society – Past Perfect upgrade Douglas County Historical Society – storage supplies East Troy Historical Society – archival supplies Fairwater Historical Society – storage supplies Farmington Historical Society – camera, scanner, printer Freedom Area Historical Society – UV window protection Friends of Schumacher Farm – de-humidifier Greendale Historical Society – archival supplies Holmen Area Historical Society – storage supplies Iola Historical Society – archival supplies Iowa County Historical Society – computer, printer, scanner Mineral Point Historical Society – storage supplies Sheboygan County Historical Research Center – archival materials Stone Lake Area Historical Society – digitizing equipment Vilas Historical Museum – archival supplies Washington County Historical Society – archival storage White Lake Historical Society – computer 20 awards totaling $10,549.40 The Field Services program, along with the Wisconsin Council for Local Hist ory, is pleased to announce a record-setting year for the affiliate mini-gr ant program. The Society and the Council partner each to offer awards of up
 to $700 for projects that support collections care and management. This ye ar, we received 71 applications, the highest number to date. A total of 20 awards were given, totaling just over $10,500. Congratulations to this year
’s awardees – it was an extremely competitive review process, as there were so many worthwhile projects and limited funding available. The program
