20 awards totaling $10,549.40
The Field Services program, along with the Wisconsin Council for Local Hist
ory, is pleased to announce a record-setting year for the affiliate mini-gr
ant program. The Society and the Council partner each to offer awards of up
to $700 for projects that support collections care and management. This ye
ar, we received 71 applications, the highest number to date. A total of 20
awards were given, totaling just over $10,500. Congratulations to this year
’s awardees – it was an extremely competitive review process, as there
were so many worthwhile projects and limited funding available. The program
will be offered again in 2011. For more information on the mini-grant prog
ram, contact Janet Seymour or Rick Bernstein.
