Register by October 13 for AASLH's Basics of Archives Online Course
The course is scheduled for October 18-November 12. The Basics of Archives
was developed in cooperation with COSHRC, the Michigan Historical Center,
the New York State Archives, and the Ohio Historical Society, and with a gr
ant from IMLS. Participants proceed at their own pace through this online w
orkshop that covers the basics of archives management and practices includi
ng acquiring collections, processing, housing and preservation, and providi
ng access.
Cost for the workshop is $85 for members and $150 for nonmembers. The dead
line for registration is October 13.
