Polk County (estimated population 46,000 in 2010) received about $18,000
for calendar year 2010. The County Board has been cutting all programs
and we will be receiving less than that in 2011 (the county budget
hearings are this evening). Would you please share the results of your
survey for all the replies. About 8,000 pays for part of the museum
director's salary and most of the rest is used for utilities.
