We would like to know if any other historical societies out there have deve loped criteria for evaluating prospective board members. This is probably a
task the board should do themselves, with or without input from the execut ive director, but it would be helpful for us if we had some examples of wha t criteria other organizations use to evaluate candidates. Also: do you hav e requirements for candidacy that you publicize?

Thank you for help-and any advice on the subject of director selection is w elcome and appreciated!
