The Waushara County Historical Society charges .50 per photocopy using the copier that has b/w toner, but $3.00 per page if we use the HP copier that copies photos in higher quality using the expensive ink cartridges.  Also
charge $3.00 per page for obituaries or other documents photocopied and ma iled or scanned and e-mailed. The suggested donation for research is $10.00
per hour. this helps cover about 20% of our $90.00/month phone/internet bi ll and ink and toner. We still have been going in the hole 50%. Our expense s exceed our income by 50%. Bruce Runnels, Treasurer

This may have been asked before, but it might be time for an

update. What do other organizations charge researchers for Xerox co pies of documents? We currently are charging $1.00 per copy  and throw in a few free copies if they make many copies. Would lowering our pric e, garner more copies, and thus, more income? Bill Sauk County Hist orical Society
