ROLL CHOSEN FOR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM IN NEW YORK
Jarrod Roll, Director of the Monroe County Local History Room in Sparta,
Wisconsin, was one of twenty applicants chosen out of a national pool to
participate in the 2011 Institute for Cultural Entrepreneurship for Museum
Leaders, to be held in New York in May, 2011. Roll received a scholarship
to attend. The Institute for Cultural Entrepreneurship is an immersion
program for mid-career professionals designed to introduce the principles of
entrepreneurial thinking with the goal of expanding vision and leadership
skills. Roll has been Director of the Monroe County Local History Room
since July 2002. The purpose of the Local History Room is to connect people
