One of the Winneconne Historical Society's founders was the late James P. Coughlin, who was a book collector. His collection of Wisconsin books are housed in a room in the Winneconne Public Library he sponsored in honor of his mother. Because there was room in the beginning he also added his President's book collection, with the understanding when room was needed for Wisconsin books the President's books could go to the Historical Society. That is the current situation. Out local Historical Society does not have facilities to house them, so they are now up for sale. If any society for person is interested in seeing a list, contact the sender of this e-mail. (There are over 50 titles.) Marge
