I had no idea what I was starting when I posted about mannequins for sale!
They've been flying out of here. Rather than sort thru emails and respond to
you individually, here is what is still left, with prices. If you are
interested, please contact me directly (email and phone are below) so that
Janet doesn't have to keep forwarding responses to me. Plus it means I can
usually reply to your direct email without getting shut out by spam filters.
Still available to good homes:
1. One child, about 5 yr old, with one arm, no hand, $50.00
2. One child, about 7 yr old, with one arm, no hand, $50.00
3. One female upper torso, no arms (could be used on top of a cabinet,
to feature a hat), $25.00
4. One youth, male or female, somewhat cracked, has both arms and one
hand, definitely still usable. $60.00
5. One lower female torso: don't really know why we have this or what
happened to her upper half. $20.00
A note about arms: for display of historic textiles, I don't think they are
that important. You can fill sleeves with rolled tissue paper. This has the
added advantage of not forcing FRAGILE fibers over rigid armatures that can
cause them to tear.
