The Caledonia Historical Society, RG Productions and First Impressions join
forces to recreate a “Command Performance”.
Step back in time as we perform a live radio program as it was done in the
1940’s. “Command Performances” were recorded and distributed to Allie
d
soldiers in every theater of conflict during World War Two.
Join us June 8, 2013 at The Old Town Hall in Linwood Park, Caledonia,WI.
Linwood Park is located at the intersection of State Hwy 38 and the 5 Mile
Road in Racine County.
The show begins at 1:00 with an introduction by First Lady Eleanor
Roosevelt as portrayed by Jessica Michna of First Impressions. Nita Hunter
and the talented actors of RG Productions will recreate Gunsmoke and Burns
and Allen. Mrs. Roosevelt closes the show with excerpts from her June 8,
1944 speech to the nation.
Come early and have a picnic. The Caledonia Lions will be on site selling
hot dogs, brats and burgers. Stop down in the Depot to bid on our Gift
Baskets or buy a coupon card.
Bring your cameras for photos on the caboose.
