Building Queries with Contact List Manager

Effective contact management begins with building targeted contact lists. The most useful contact lists are built by understanding the database and the query process that places contacts onto a list. Last month Brian Gomez, VP Operations, presented “Building Queries with PastPerfect 5.0’s Contact List Manager,” which included real-world examples to show how a few simple steps can maximize results. If you missed the webinar or would like a refresher, a recording is available at our YouTube page<http://comm100email20.com/Newsletter/Newsletter_Click.aspx?version=4&type=0&EmailId=495&EmailMessageId=987&UserOrContactId=13491&siteId=45720&LinkId=1881>.

We also have some great Knowledge Base articles<http://comm100email20.com/Newsletter/Newsletter_Click.aspx?version=4&type=0&EmailId=495&EmailMessageId=987&UserOrContactId=13491&siteId=45720&LinkId=1889> to help you effectively utilize PastPerfect’s contact list features.

Planning Future Exhibits with Catalog Lists

Using Catalog Lists to Plan for Future Exhibits in PastPerfect 5.0 Thursday, October 31, 2013 | 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET

An important step in exhibit planning is selecting collection items that convey the exhibit’s theme or story. PastPerfect 5.0's catalog list feature can speed up this process. Catalog lists allow you to select a range of items that match your exhibit plan, refine the list, and add these items to an exhibit with a click of a button. In this webinar, we will demonstrate how to create a catalog list and add items by query, narrow down the list by removing individual records, and then connect the items on the list to a new exhibit record. The processes learned in this webinar can also help organizations who wish to create catalog lists for future outgoing loans or mass movement of collections.

This free 30-minute webinar is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 12 p.m. ET. There will be an additional 15 minute Q&A session following the webinar.

"On October 1, 1908, the first production Model T Ford was completed at the company's Piquette Avenue plant in Detroit. Between 1908 and 1927, Ford would build some 15 million Model T cars. It was the longest production run of any automobile model in history until the Volkswagen Beetle surpassed it in 1972.

Before the Model T, cars were a luxury item: At the beginning of 1908, there were fewer than 200,000 on the road. Though the Model T was fairly expensive at first (the cheapest one initially cost $825, or about $18,000 in today's dollars), it was built for ordinary people to drive every day. It could go as fast as 40 miles per hour and could run on gasoline or hemp-based fuel."
