The Price County Historical Society's Heritage Photographic Archive is developing a new Deed of Gift form specifically designed for photographs, portraits, slides, negatives, and digital images. The deed attempts to identify any restrictions the donor wishes to place on how the photographic images may be reproduced, displayed (including online), and otherwise used. On the reverse of the form we also provide a Heritage Photographic Archive Preservation and Digital Use Policy that outlines to donors the Archive's goals, as well as the accessions, preservation and storage policies. The policy statement also covers use & display, credits & citations, documentation/record keeping, and copyright, public domain and fair use issues. We'd be very interested to see what other local historical societies have in the way of a photograph deed of gift forms and a policy for photograph donations, especially digital images. Thanks much. Thanks very much!! Regards, Glenn
