The New London Public Museum and the Grand Cinema Theater team up to bring
a unique Valentines experience to New London. Don't leave town for Valentin
es! We've got it all here for you! Step back in time on Saturday, February
13 and enjoy one of Hollywood's finest movies The African Queen on the big
screen. The movie starts at 7 PM, tickets are only $2 per person and are on
sale now at the museum. Come to the theater early and enter to win chamber
bucks. Then buy some popcorn and enjoy the movie!
Discover something new at the New London Public Museum! Enjoy exhibits abou
t local history, Native American culture, and natural history. Explore the
hands-on Curiosity Corner filled with interesting things to do. Want to dis
cover more, our research library is available by appointment. The museum is
located in the lower level of the New London Public Library, 406 S. Pearl
St. and is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (year-round) and 10
am- 1 pm Saturday (Labor Day to Memorial Day). Admission is free. Group to
