The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is hiring an Assistant Archivist an d University Records Manager. Please feel free to share this posting with anyone you know who may be interested in this position.

The Assistant Archivist and University Records Manager (Academic Archivist I) works with the Head of the University Archives and Area Research Center
(UA/ARC) to manage the daily operation of the University Archives and Area Research Center; serves as the records manager for the university, followin g state and UW-System policies to schedule the retention and disposal of th e physical and electronic records of the institution; provides research ser vice to students, faculty, alumni, and community researchers, especially in
 the areas of university, local and regional history; manages and promotes the institutional repository of scholarly works produced by UWRF faculty an d students; identifies, digitizes, and provides discovery for selected arch ival collections. This position also serves as a liaison to designated aca demic departments, participates in collection development activities for as signed subject areas, and works with library colleagues to develop a vision
 for implementing creative services and utilizing emerging technologies to meet the changing needs and expectations of our users. This is a full-time academic staff position.
