I have experimented with both and our museum building was built in 1887.
 It is far better for us to go with the warm light, and the higher Â

#yiv7328407589 .yiv7328407589MsoChpDefault {font-size:10.0pt;} _filtered #y iv7328407589 {margin:1.0in 1.0in 1.0in 1.0in;}#yiv7328407589 div.yiv7328407 589WordSection1 {}-->Good morning, I am following up on an email I sen t out several months ago regarding museum lighting and would like to know w hat others in the field are doing. I am in the process of transitionin g to LED lighting in our buildings, and I am struggling to figure out what color and lumen output would be best for our space.  Our main gallery is an old 1880s barn.  The space has rotating exhibits every year and do not necessarily have anything to do with the barn (this year will be on Civil War Soldiers). For color, I am torn between 2700K Warm White (eq uivalent to a standard incandescent bulb) and 4000K Cool White (typical off ice lighting).For lumens, I cannot decide between 680 (60 Watt equivalent) and 850 (65 Watt equivalent). I am wondering what type of lights simil ar museums use who have displays inside historic buildings.  I would g reatly appreciate any ideas. Thanks! John M.
