The inaugural Stateline Small Museums Conference (SSMC) will be held at Beloit College on Saturday, May 20, 2017. The conference will offer four concurrent sessions in two tracks, collections care and administration. Sessions cover exhibit mount making, funding collections care, the importance of strategic planning, and mission driven programming.
The target audience is the staff and volunteers (including board members) of small museums, historical societies, and sites in need of low-cost professional development in all areas of museum operations.
