The Richfield Historical Society has developed a website which lists all
of it documents (membership roster, bylaws, worksheets, policies,
inventories, etc.) The URL for the website is given out to Board members
and others who would have a need to access/view this information. The
site is not password protected, but could be. Because RHS does not have
a central office, many of these documents were stored on Board
members’ home computers. This has become a repository for the
Society’s documents. It is kept up to date and has worked well.

Subject: Members only area on websites
I am wondering if anyone knows of a historical society website with a
members only area. We are redeveloping our website and are wondering
about having a members only section that would be a benefit to members.
Also, wondering if anyone knows of a kids area with activities etc. on a
historical society website.
Thanks,
