The Caledonia Historical Society will be holding their annual Fall Heritage Festival on September 8th and 9th from 10 am to 4 pm each day. The Fall Heritage Festival is held at the Caledonia Historical Village, 7330 5 Mile Rd, Caledonia.
The historical buildings which include the 1877 Town Hall, 1902 Milwaukee Road Depot, a 1927 Caboose, a 1840 Log Cabin, and a small museum will be open with docents available to provide historical information. An early 1900's two story machine shed is currently under renovation.
There will be barrel train rides, rope making, and era appropriate games for the children. There will be a bake sale, a pie auction each day at 1 pm, tractor displays, sawmill demonstrations, cannon demonstrations, blacksmith demonstrations, spinning wool and loom demonstrations, raffles, a food tent, civil war re-enactors, and much more.
