The New Berlin Historical Society will hold its Annual Meeting at the New
Berlin Library, 15105 Library Lane on Monday, Nov. 12th at 6:30pm.
At 7pm, after our brief meeting, Dr. Richard Pifer will present "Lessons
and Legacies of the Great War." November 11th is the 100th Anniversary of
the WWI Armistice. Dr. Pifer will discuss how the home front experience
affected citizens of Wisconsin and what was learned from it.
His book, published by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press, "The Great
War Comes to Wisconsin" will be available for purchase.
This is a free event and light refreshments will be served.
