The Driftless Historim is proud to host author Caitlin PenzeyMoog, whose ne
w book, On Spice: Advice, Wisdom, and History with a Grain of Saltiness, is
part history, some recipes, and part memoir of growing up in the family sp
ice business. Besides a chat about the book, there will also be some spicy
baked goods to sample.
Caitlin grew up in Wisconsin, working at her family's spice stores. She is
currently the managing editor of The A.V. Club, The Onion's pop culture sis
ter site. She lives in Chicago.
