ctic Journey: Consequential Convergence," an art installation by local arti
sts John Ribble, Phil Salamone and Mount Horeb High School Junior Sarah Ger
g.
An opening reception will be held Saturday, May 25 from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. Me
et the artists and hear more about their inspirations, experience and more.
All are welcome.
"Eclectic Journey" will be viewable Saturday, May 25 through Tuesday, June
25 during the Historium's daily open hours of 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This
installation is free and open to all.
These artists spanning the generations have come together for this eclectic
show, featuring observational art of every flavor, in media spanning paint
s to pastels to inks.

About the Artists:
John Ribble specializes in colorful and expressive pastel landscapes, and i
s a retired professor of design at MATC. He has been a part of the Madison
community for decades, and can be found frequenting local coffee shops with
his student Sarah.
Sarah Gerg is a junior attending Mount Horeb High School. She took one of J
ohn’s class in 2014, and they’ve been fast friends ever since.
Phil Salamone owns a private studio in Madison -and also instructs at UW’
s Continuing Studies- where he teaches portrait and figure drawing and pain
ting. Sarah took several seasonal classes at Phil’s studio, and worked as
his assistant on their “Visible Bucky” for last summer’s “Bucky on
Parade” charity fundraiser.
