We have what appears to be a 4 volume set of books "History of Wisconsin",
and I am attempting to get bibliographical records for them. One volume is
missing the first 34 pages and has no spine left. I used WorldCat to try
to find what I need
and got zero results. Does anyone else have this set? The volume I need
help with has chapter headings (I presume from the top of the left side
pages) Pre-territorial annals of Wisconsin, Wisconsin as a state,
Topography and geology, and many more.
The other three volumes were published by Western Historical Association/
or Society in 1906.
I would greatly appreciate your help if you own the set.
Also, we have a number of items that need to go to their respective historical societies. Has there been a "swap meet" in the past? I can and will mail items if needed. (I'm trying to recover some of our limited desk space)> If you represent: Monticello, Milton Junction, Footville, Jefferson, Sun Prairie, MIddleton, Helenville, Fort Atkinson, Deerfield, Cottage Grove, Waterloo, Watertown, Johnson Creek, or Oregon, we have things for you. Now don't get too excited, it may be just clippings, but I did see some swizzle sticks in one of the envelopes. So, send a representative to Marshall any Tuesday from 10 - 5 (workday) or Sunday mornings from 9-1 starting in mid April. If you want the items mailed, please give me an address to send them to.
