Preserving Wisconsin's Modern Heritage with Docomomo US/Wisconsin: An Intro
duction to the State's Newest Preservation Non-Profit
Docomomo US is a nationwide non-profit that aims to enrich our communities
and culture through the understanding, appreciation and preservation of mod
ern architecture and design. Wisconsin recently joined an established netwo
rk of regional chapters with a local chapter primarily based in the southea
stern part of the state. This presentation will introduce Docomomo's newest
chapter, highlight some of Wisconsin's notable mid-century resources and d
iscuss how communities across the state can get involved.
