The Driftless Historium (100 S 2nd St) is proud to host βMeet Your Makers,β a photography exhibit celebrating makers and producers of the greater Mount Horeb area, and the meaningful work they do to nourish the bodies and minds of our community and neighbors.
βMeet Your Makersβ features snapshots shared by thirteen area agricultural entrepreneurs that capture their daily life. Museum staff asked for visual documentation of the physical toil and challenges; the everyday joy; their crops, their animals, their product and their family βand all the intersections in between.
This photo exhibit, showing now through Tuesday, September 6, is free and viewable in the Kalscheur Family Foundation Community Room during the museum's open hours (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday; 10am - 4pm).
The public is invited to meet these Makers, learn about their respective businesses, and sample the fruit of their labors, as applicable, at a reception to be held Tuesday, August 2 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Driftless Historium in downtown Mount Horeb.
