*THE NEW BERLIN HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS HOSTING THEIR ANNUAL HISTORIC DAY ON
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH.*
Historic Day will be celebrated at the New Berlin Historical Park, 19765 W.
National Avenue.
Grounds open at 1pm - Parade at 2pm - Storytelling in the little red
schoolhouse at 2:30p.
Tour historic homes, a carriage barn, the little red schoolhouse, the 1840s
log house, a cupola and the Freewill Baptist Church (1859). Walk among the
apple trees at Weston's Antique Apple Orchard where the little ones can
ride the barrel train. Watch a blacksmith at work.Kids can pet the
miniature horses and paint pumpkins.
Sloppy Joes, hot dogs, chips and homemade desserts will be available.
Admission is FREE and there is a FREE shuttle bus from Prospect Hill Garden
Center.
