Standing for Peace
What it is:
Students in Black is an organization that stands in silent vigil
to protest violence inflicted on people all over the world. We are
silent because no words can express the tragedy that wars and hatred
bring. We hold signs to express our thoughts and wear black as a symbol
of our mourning. We stand in solidarity for all who have been raped,
tortured, killed in concentration camps, disappeared or have been
casualties or victims of war. This not only includes present wars, but
wars that have taken place in the past.
What you can do:
If you are interested in standing with us, join us
