Dear SFPJ colleagues,

The UWEC Food Club (the foodlums) would like to invite you to have a local hot dog lunch this Wednesday afternoon from 11-2 at the entrance of Phillip s. Local dogs, buns and condiments are being sold to raise money for doing
great things. For you gardeners, they are also selling 50 lb. bags of com posted cow manure, a foodlum should be able to help you get the dirt to you r car. They will also be selling the dirt at the farmer's market in May an d at Earth Day.

Please stop by and meet the foodlums, a new club on campus exploring and pr omoting the benefits of local/sustainable food. They're growing a garden i n the Phillips courtyard, creating service learning opportunities for stude nts and doing what they love to cultivate the Eau Claire community.

We hope to see you Wednesday. Invite a colleague along and ask for a doubl e dog!

Dr. Paul Kaldjian Adviser to the Foodlums and Associate Professor of Geography Dept. of Geography and Anthropology University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire Eau Claire, WI 54702
