I just want to recommend a book I just finished: "The Deserter's Tale" by
Joshua Key and Lawrence Hill. It will make you sick at heart if you belie
ve what he says about what is being done to Iraqi civilians in our name. J
udging by the reviews on Amazon.com, some people think it is full of lies,
while other people believe it all. Having grown up during Vietnam, I tend
to believe him and wonder what reason he would have to lie about all this?
Lawrence Hill seems to have a good reputation as a writer, so you be the
judge, and I would welcome others letting me know what they think about thi
s book. I have a copy if anyone would like to borrow it.
