The last 350.org event was fun and productive and the EC group is was on th e 350.org homepage for the climate day of action for a long time. I attach a photo of the event.

If you want to RSVP for the upcoming EC event go here: http://www.350.org/node/13679

I consider climate action a peace, justice and sustainability issue. Pleas e pass it on and consider attending. If only for a few minutes on a cold a fternoon.

Hi Karen,

 [http://action.1sky.org/images/350-candlelight-vigil-200px.jpg] <http://or g2.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=6OHE6GwEAy8T7jCw5aGgDt792y I%2FMq0o>

Attend a global climate candlelight vigil on Dec. 12:

Sign up and find a vigil near you

A few months ago, people said there was no chance of getting President Obam a to go to Copenhagen, so why bother trying?

But you didn't listen. Along with thousands of 1Sky supporters, you attende d art gatherings, signed our Obama petition, and attended rallies in Washin gton D.C.<http://org2.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=ReKk3UP N0SE5sNXARc9KOd792yI%2FMq0o> and throughout the country.

The end result? President Obama will attend the climate change talks when o ther world leaders will be in attendance, greatly increasing the chances of
setting the framework for a fair, ambitious and binding global treaty.

But now is not the time to let up: we need to show world leaders that we're
ready for a binding treaty. Join 1Sky, 350 and TckTckTck for a global cand lelight vigil this Saturday, December 12. Sign up to let us know you're att ending and find a vigil near you:

Obama will go to Copenhagen armed with yesterday's decision by the EPA to b egin to regulate greenhouse gases -- a key move that means we have a chance
to deal with carbon pollution even if the Senate fails to act.

Reminding Obama of the depth of support here at home for bold climate solut ions will be critical in making sure the U.S. commits to setting the table for a binding treaty. Join with millions of your fellow global citizens to demonstrate to world leaders that we're ready to make real change now:

There will be candlelight vigils throughout the country -- sponsored by our
friends at 350 -- in solidarity with concerned citizens across the world o n Friday and Saturday. There will also be a series of rallies around the wo rld on Saturday.

We've proved over the last few months how much of a difference we can make
 -- let's keep it up!
