I certainly agree!!! We find that a good share of our visitors are from out
of town, & therefore looking for something to do - however, I want to
emphasize to our local market, that they can visit us, especially on an
event weekend, for a reasonable price. We do have 2 public access channels,
and I do manage to get us listed on various websites - we have our own
webpage. It's hard to find all the websites that people may look on - and
it's often NOT one we are on! I like the ide of emphasizing the "trip on a
tank"! We have a new drive-in theater opening on the 22nd, so Barron County
will now have 2 tourist attractions! Weekday hours are not real busy, but
good for local groups to come, as well as vacationers up here for more than
a weekend. We are open Thurs.- Sun. 1-5pm, and 10-5 on event days. Our
website is www.barroncountymuseum.com if you care to check it out
