West Bend Historic Holiday Home Tour
The Washington County Historical Society is proud to present the West Bend
Historic Holiday Home Tour Sunday December 7, beginning at 12:30 p.m. The
tour Features five historic sites beautifully decorated for the season. The
cost is only $8 per person, which includes transportation to each location.
Reservations may be made in advance by calling the historical society at
262-335-4678. "Walk-ins" are also welcome.
This is the first year that the society has held this event that features
five unique locations. Attendees will learn the rich history that is "right
in their own backyard," including the building's past as well as the
families who lived there. Each tour attendee will also receive a booklet
that includes early photos of each home. All locations will also be
beautifully decorated for the season.
This home tour is part of the society's "Christmastime at the Old Courthouse
Museum," December 5 -7. Other festivities include a silent auction, book
signing with author Jerry Apps, and the society's holiday raffle. Silent
auction items include sports memorabilia, vintage wines, a sterling Silver,
18k gold and onyx designer necklace courtesy of Husar's House of Fine
Diamonds, and much more. The Holiday Raffle first prize is $5,000. Second
prize is a pair of mopeds donated by Mid-Cities Motorsports and Kreilkamp
Trucking.
The Washington County Historical Society cordially invites you to enjoy all
of these holiday festivities. Proceeds will support the society's
operational budget.
