Birthday February 15, 2009
The Rock County Historical Society is inviting the community to
celebrate
Abraham Lincoln's Birthday Sunday February 15, 2009 from 1 - 3 pm at the
Lincoln-Tallman House.
Admission is a birthday card (homemade or purchased) for President
Lincoln.
The walk-thru tour will tell the story of Lincoln's visit to Janesville
in
1859.
Cake will be served to the first one hundred birthday card donors at the
Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center.
All cards will be on display at the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center for
the
month of February.

The Rock County Historical Society, which includes the Lincoln-Tallman
House
and the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center, is open daily from 9 A.M. to 4
P.M. through September. Guided tours are offered daily June through
September. All tours begin at the Helen Jeffris Wood Museum Center
located
