Both the American Association of Museums (AAM) and the American Association
 for State and Local History (AASLH) offer some type of insurance/discount program if your organization is a member. I am not familiar with these prog rams or the details, but you can find more information on the websites belo w.

Our board has gone round that curve many times trying to find health insurance for me because I pay my own insurance. We couldn't find one so they try to pay a little more to help me with the premiums. Kathy Laakso Director, Douglas County Historical Society
