May 2 at 11:30 at the Altona Supper Club in New Holstein.
Subtitled "Stirring Up the Past with Recipes and Stories", "Apple Bett
y and Sloppy Joe"
Is the title of a volume of recipes and memories collected by the Sanvidge
sisters of
Oshkosh, WI. Co-author Jean Sanvidge Wouters and her mother, Helen Sanvidg
e, the
matriarch of the kitchen that inspired this book, will be the main speakers
. The event will
feature recipes, cooking related anecdotes and humorous asides that will ev
oke
memories of Mom's or Grandma's kitchen of the 1950's.
