We are funded by the city; however, a Friends group is starting up and we h ope to start generating some funding from them as well as increasing some o f our revenue through internal fundraising activities and fees for research
and usage. It always makes me a bit nervous to have 100% of our funding co ming from just one source.

We're interested in knowing how other historical societies are funded, whet her private, county or city or mixture of them. Can you help us out? Thanks.
