Yes, we have an endowment which supplies about half of our operating budget. We established it as a separate corporation in 1992, and named the Ephraim Historical Foundation (our historical society) as the sole voting member. We have a separate 12-person board, bylaws etc. and meet at separate times. The trust is administered by a bank trust department, although it could also be administered through a local community foundation, which is a good place to start.
