There has been discussion on keeping track of volunteer hours recently
and I am wondering if anyone has a form or guidelines on how to do this
in an efficient way. We have never done it, but would like to start
with a little help from someone who has been doing it.
We would like to have a sort of 'recruiting' gathering by invitation
only to meet some new people and get them interested in volunteering at
our museum. We are seeking committee members, advisory board members,
regular board members and other types of volunteer opportunities. Has
anyone done anything like this? What format did you use, length of
event, did you have a power point program? Any ideas would be helpful
as we plan this event to take place in February.
