Eau Claire: 20th Annual Historic home tour
Eau Claire, WI May 3rd, 2010: The annual historic home tour will once agai
n take place on Saturday May 15, 2010 from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. in Eau Cla
ire. This year's home tour will include eight different historic homes and
area business including the Masonic Temple at 616 Graham Avenue, a Neo Cla
ssical structure and the Antique Emporium/Main Street Gallery at 306 Main S
treet a Romanesque Revival structure. Four homes will also be represented
on the tour including two homes on Lake Street; 411 Lake Street which is a
colonial revival structure and 405 Lake a Queen Anne Structure. The home o
n 420 Fourth Ave is an example of Second Empire architecture with a strong
Queen Anne influence and 639 Wisconsin Street is a large Queen Anne style w
ith a beautiful tower. 316 Hudson Street is another Queen Anne style and 34
0 Lincoln Ave will round out the tour with a Modified Greek Revival form of
architecture. Tickets for the event are $10.00 and can be purchased at an
