KICK IT UP IN KEWASKUM
Spend a summer evening along the Milwaukee River visiting the award-winning
Kewaskum Historical Society Museum and Log Cabin on Tuesday, July 13 at
7:00p.m. This free event includes a presentation and tours of both museums
on the site.
The Kewaskum Historical Society is known for the outstanding renovation of
the Log home originally built in 1847. Owned by the Reyson family, the
building was donated to the Society in 1980, and moved from the town of
Scott to its current location. Beautifully restored, the museum features
displays from the 1800's.
Don't miss this chance to be a tourist in your own backyard. The Kewaskum
Historical Society is located at 1202 Parkview Drive. For more information
please contact the Washington County Historical Society at 262-335-4678 or
www.historyisfun.com.
