ARTIFACTS ARE NEEDED FOR :
  The Sheehan-Godsell Log Cabin and The Whelan One-Room School
(Franklin Historical Society)

Perhaps you are in the midst of house cleaning and would like to
  empty out your attic or barn/garage? The Franklin Historical Society is in need of artifacts for both the Sheehan-Godsell Cabin and the Whelan One-Room School. We wish to

complete the story of cabin life in the 1830’s to 1850’s and one-room school education during the 1880’s to 1920’s.

We will be happy to meet with you to view the item(s) for appropriateness.

WHELAN SCHOOL
(era requested: 1880’s to 1920’s) dictionary stand for large library style dictionary ink bottles for desks c1900’s pull down maps of United States or Wisconsin

SHEEHAN-GODSELL LOG CABIN
(era requested: 1830’s to 1850’s)

kitchen table (plain, with or without leaves, 24” x 32” approx.)
  primitive looking cupboard for dishes wooden bowls bellows
                        worn boards for shelving (6” x 20” approximately) butter churn
( wooden paddle type) quilts (could show wear) wool type blankets pillows (feather) wooden wash tub
